Every year ShanghaiPRIDE donates the proceeds from raffle tickets to various organizations. This year, proceeds from pride bike, pride run, and raffle tickets will support Snow Lotus Lesbian Association (SLLA), Qing’ai, and Beijing LGBT Center.

Shanghai Qing’ai

Shanghai Qing’ai Health Center was established in March 11th, 2010, registered under the Jing’an District Civil Affairs Bureau. The center offers HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health education, testing, professional training, consulting services, academic exchanges and etc. for the young people in Shanghai. The center’s mission is to improve the youth’s awareness of HIV/AIDS prevention, improve the living environment of those infected and to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Beijing LGBT

February 14th, 2008, five Chinese individuals from various organizations which focused on LGBT development came together and established the Beijing LGBT Center. As a non-profit organization, Beijing LGBT Center is both one of the earliest domestic LGBT center, but also Beijing’s first LGBT space, upholding the values of respect for diverse collaborations, also welcoming everyone . The center is committed to developing a positive self-acceptance among LGBT. Therefore, the center provides various forms of counseling services, including professional counselors one on one counseling, group counseling for men and women, college students companion growth group and other self-help organizations. To date, more than 600 people benefit from the projects for mental health. Activities by Beijing LGBT Center to the public and professionals carry out advocacy for LGBT people against discrimination. Events in university campuses to increase awareness and knowledge, events in enterprises with employee training about diversity, also working with media to spread their voice.

Chengdu Tongle

Chengdu Tongle Health Counseling Service Center (Chengdu Tongle for short), established in 2002, is a non-profit organization initiated and independently managed by gay men, struggling against health crises like HIV/AIDS, developing gay culture and promoting gay rights.
