【Recap】ShangahPRIDE 2016 – PRIDE Talk
Shanghai, June 16th – The very first PRIDE Talk was held successfully at The Apartment last Thursday. PRIDE Talk was the preview event for ShanghaiPRIDE 2016 before the festival officially begins.
PRIDE Talk is a new addition to this year’s festival. Speakers deliver their talks in a super fun format with 20 slides per speaker, with only 20 seconds per slide which is 400 seconds in total.
Organizers selected ten speakers for this event. Stories included touching coming out and life-changing experiences.
Almost 100 participants attended PRIDE Talk, listened to the stories, and shared the happiness and sorrows of the speakers. The audience found their own stories in each speaker’s experience. PRIDE Talk was overall an inspiring night.
