Clay Ok

ShanghaiPRIDE presents an ARTernative to the bar. We have found a cozy little studio for making adorable clay figurines, which is a perfect place to let your creative side run wild for an evening. Come with your friends to work in a small group, or if you register alone, we can pair you with another small group. Beverages such as wine, coffee, and tea will be served to help your creative juices flow. An instructor is available to help you with direction. Diagrams are able to help you with design. So… no prior experience is necessary. Come just to have fun and relax. “It’s OK to be Clay!”

Address: Miaoxiansen, F25, No 20, Alley 380, Tianyaoqiao Road.
Take exit 2, Xujiahui Stadium line 1/9 or take exit 4, Shanghai Stadium Station Line 1/4.
Entrance is on Ciyun Road about 200m from Tianyaoqiao intersection.

Fee: Online pre-registration ticket 80RMB (including one drink), price at the door is 100RMB.

2. You can do pre-registration by sending email to shanghaipride@gmail.com. Please leave “Clay Ok + name + email address/phone number“. We will hold your pre-registration until Mar 21. Registration will be finalized upon successful payment. We will contact you via text message after we have received your successful payment.
3. You can also contact Jason at 185 1614 1112 (before Mar 28) to buy a ticket.

Event Description: design as many clay figurines/pieces as you can in 3 hours. You are free to take home whatever pieces (or friends) you make in the 3 hours. First drink is free. Refills are available at a small additional fee. Prizes are awarded to the best design.
